Terms of Service

The service

PH Launch Pad provides free tools to help you prepare for a Product Hunt launch: a validation tool, day picker, tagline generator, first comment generator, checklist, post-launch analyzer, and category map. Some features use AI to generate content. All tools are free to use with or without an account.

Accounts

• You sign up by connecting your Product Hunt account via OAuth. You must have a valid PH account.
• You're responsible for the activity on your account. If you think someone has accessed your account without permission, disconnect Product Hunt from your dashboard settings and contact us.
• You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard. This permanently removes all your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Acceptable use

Use the tools however you like, with a few ground rules:

• Don't abuse rate limits – our AI features have per-hour and per-day limits. Automated scripts, bots, or attempts to bypass these limits will get your access revoked.
• Don't scrape or redistribute – you may not bulk-scrape the site, our APIs, or our database of Product Hunt launch data for use in competing products.
• Don't misrepresent – don't claim PH Launch Pad is your product, or use our brand/logo in a way that implies endorsement.

AI-generated content

• You own it – taglines, comments, and other text generated by our AI tools are yours. Use them however you want.
• No guarantees – AI output is a starting point, not a finished product. We don't guarantee that generated content will be accurate, original, or free from errors. Review and edit before using it on Product Hunt.
• Not unique to you – similar prompts may produce similar outputs for different users. The AI doesn't remember your previous sessions.

Data, scores & recommendations

Our tools analyze data from Product Hunt launches to provide insights, scores, and recommendations. A few things to keep in mind:

• PH Scores, verdicts, and day recommendations are based on historical patterns. They're directional guidance, not guarantees of launch performance.
• Category benchmarks and statistics are derived from publicly available Product Hunt data. We refresh this data regularly but don't guarantee real-time accuracy.
• We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Product Hunt. "Product Hunt" is a trademark of Product Hunt Inc.

Free tool, provided as-is

PH Launch Pad is free. We work hard to keep it running and useful, but:

• The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time. We'll try to give notice, but can't always guarantee it for a free tool.
• We're not liable for decisions you make based on our tools, scores, or recommendations. Your launch strategy is ultimately your call.

Intellectual property

• The PH Launch Pad name, logo, design, code, and proprietary scoring algorithms belong to tmaker.
• The curated launch data, category benchmarks, and example taglines/comments displayed on the site are compiled from public sources and are part of our service.
• Content you create using our tools (saved taglines, comments, etc.) belongs to you.

Links to tmaker products

PH Launch Pad includes links and recommendations for other tmaker products (SuperX, Revid, PostSyncer, Feather, Outrank). These are clearly marked. Each product has its own terms of service. Using PH Launch Pad does not create any obligation to use or purchase other tmaker products.

Termination

You can stop using PH Launch Pad at any time. Delete your account and your data is gone. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, particularly around rate limit abuse and scraping.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continued use of PH Launch Pad after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Paris, France.
